Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) ensures that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is designed to minimize the risks involved in any production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product.
To properly demonstrate our ability to meet the necessary GMP production standards and exceed their quality requirements, we must produce a minimum of four generations of carbon copy cannabis plants.
To gain the GMP certification, every generation produced must contain the exact same DNA and Cannabinoid profiles for each tested sample.

MSc of International Business. Anders provides valuable know-how from his +8 years experience with start-ups from various industries. Anders has furthermore proven experience in operations and product management and an extended background in the field of marketing and project management.
Anders is a cannabis genetics expert and a specialist in the production of flowers and derivative products such as hash, pollens, oils, food products, and cosmetics. He is a former director, founder and head grower of Medical Cannabis Denmark A/S and has subsequently worked as a freelance consultant within the industry.
Through his company Nordic Hemp Group Janus has been involved and provided advice in our seed and flower processes combined with facilitating various product solutions based on his +10 years of experience in the industry along with his vast international network.
Kent is in charge of patrolling premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence in order to comply with the Danish rules and regulations within the industry.

Real Canna Denmark has various projects with selected partners and stakeholders within the scientific community, as well as developers of new and exciting tech solutions – all to further both streamline and improve our own solutions, while sharing some of our many valuable research results within our group of collaborating companies and organisations.
The University of Southern Denmark is collaborating with Real Canna Denmark and LightNovo on an innovative project with the aim of developing raman spectroscopy.
Raman spectroscopy is a technology for precision measurement of chemical compounds. The current measurement of plant content is carried out in external laboratories from cut dried plant parts. Being able to measure the cannabinoid content in real time and on site on the plant’s leaves will enable more effective monitoring of the plant’s growth and development. This implementation of the Raman laser for measurement on cannabis plant leaves will provide insight into the variation of cannabinoid content during the plant’s life cycle.
The core of the project is to develop a reliable and precise method via hand-held device for on-site measurement of cannabinoids on the leaves of cannabis plants to monitor the cannabinoid content during different growth phases. If possible, the project will follow an entire growth cycle.
